Clemmons Bicycle NC 2008 Tour To Tanglewood MS Training Bike Ride Inline Skate

Clemmons Bicycle was a bit weak on support near the end of last year's ride, with the last rest stop packing up and running out while people were still on the road, including a few cyclists behind us as I recall. I don't think it'll happen this year, and even if it does, I want to be there for what I believe is my favorite route among the T2T training rides. The 30-something mile ride is a really fine route with lots of great countryside, some sweet downhills and of course some ups to put the challenge in the legs as we get ready for the tour on some of the roads used in the tour. This is a good one, and the owners were new last year so I think they'll have it down this year. We get so spoiled at the T2T training rides...they're great, and the rest stop volunteers are so awesome almost every time that it is noteworthy if something ends up less than spectacular. I love this route!
T2T training rides welcome experienced roadskaters to join in, but if it's your first one, please talk with the MS Society staff, a Bike Response Team member (look for their jerseys!), or a Roadskater.net skater if you can before rolling out. Bikes are welcome too of course!
These are great FREE, extremely well-supported skateable bike rides to introduce you to the people and mission of Tour to Tanglewood, the great charity fundraiser for Multiple Sclerosis. There are no speeches...just a lot of friendly folk helping you get trained in case you decide you'd like to join us in September for the 10th Skateyloved Tour to Tanglewood.
