High Protein, Low Fat, Low Carb (Carbohydrate) Grocery Food Nutrition Facts

I wanted to share some of my findings in my search for relatively easy to find, affordable, options for high protein, low carbohydrate, low fat food. I typically go for high carb, low fat food before and during exercise, and try to eat more protein after. I love pizza and mexican-american food, so take that with a huge shaker of salt. Nevertheless, here are some of my favorites that help me get more protein and a little less fat, and also don't require refrigeration before opening:

Not Exactly Low Fat But High Protein Low Carb
OK I just consumed a pack of Sorrento Stringsters Reduced Fat 100% Natural String Cheese (over a few days) and it was good (enough). It's 50% calories from fat, still, but scores well on the protein. It's deceiving when you see 8g protein and 4g fat, but as fat has roughly twice the calories per gram as do carbs and protein, it makes sense:
- calories/serving: 70; calories from fat: 35
- serving: 1oz/28g/1 stick
- protein: 8g
- fat: 4g; saturated fat: 3g
- carb: 1g
- cholesterol: 10mg; dietary fiber: 0g
- sodium: 180mg
