Human-Powered Circumnavigation by Pedalboat, Bike & Inline Skates (Rollerblades)

I'm so glad someone is living some of our dreams for us as we live some of theirs for them!
Jason Lewis is a British trekster (supertrekker some say) who has spent part (all?) of the last 13 years circling the earth by pedalboat, bike and inline skates, often joined by a friend on his journey. It seems the goal is to use neither wind nor motors in his quest.
Lewis began his journey in 1994 and has made about three-fourths of his trip, logging 35,000 miles thus far.
Notably Lewis and Steve Smith made the first westward crossing of the Atlantic on pedalboat in 1994 and Lewis skated across the USA the next year.
Lewis pedaled his boat from San Francisco, United States to Port Douglas, Australia (I am not sure if alone), being first to complete such trek on August 18, 2000.
It seems he'll need to keep an eye out for pirates, and of course going through the Sudan might not be the safest route when all is said and done either.
No slacker's trip, by no means is Lewis taking the shortest route. For a bit more on the trip, with nice photos and more text, please see this article on theoceans.net. If you learn more and wish to, please share here as I know we are all interested in human powered excursions.
