To make it easier to get to the new roadskater.net beta, you can now use http://rsn2.com to reach the front page. I'll still prefer we refer to all of this (beta and classic) as ROADSKATER.NET. Before long, http://roadskater.net will default to the new site, and perhaps another URL will point to the classic site as preserved for historical purposes...not sure. It probably only matters to me!
As of this writing, http://rsn2.com leads to the beta, and http://rsn1.net leads to the classic site.
What I'm doing here with URLs is based on the research I did in development, where overwhelmingly and almost entirely, respondents said they did NOT want several websites focused on several subjects, but ONE site with ONE login and ONE community, but with several doorways in where the center of the page may be focused on the topic at hand, but the edges of the page and site bring together varied interests and information. Some of those entry points, with many more to come, are:
- http://rsn2.com the beta site;
- http://sqate.com for skating questions, answers, technique and equipment;
- http://tourtotanglewood.com for the Greensboro ms ride, the roadskater.net team, and any team or individual;
- http://inlinecafe.com for the rest of life;
- http://phillyfreeskate.com just added to assist Doug Kelly's effort for a 2007 free skate in Philadelphia.
I have numerous other subsites on the way that will be incorporated into the site, but mostly they are not ready enough to be mentioned. Also, I promise to get back to photo editing and to present future photos within the context of the other efforts here, hopefully with easy voting on photos and perhaps some other interesting features. We'll see! Thanks for your contributions!

Regarding this...
"Before long, http://roadskater.net will default to the new site, and perhaps another URL will point to the classic site as preserved for historical purposes...not sure. It probably only matters to me!"
No. It doesn't only matter to you! I hope the old site is not only preserved, but honored and revered, too! I'm sure I'll get used to roadskater.net leading to the new site, but right now it seems weird to me. Still, "All things must pass", and I love this new site too. So resistant am I to change...I'm still skating on 5 x 80s.
