Saw this posted on a couple lists...

Looks pretty funny, in a "I can't believe people used to dress that way" kinda way...  ;)  Only watched a couple minutes of it, but it did appear to have some cool aggressive quad skating stuff in it too...

Even though their shorts left MUCH to be desired.... Did you see the totally cool plexiglass tube they skated in at the end of that video? I want one...

The Things You Watch When You Can't Afford Cable...

That old movie reminded me - 

 

Channel 14, WPXA (Atlanta area) broadcast TV, 9pm last night: Charlies Angels - the one where Jill (Farrah) has to skate Roller Derby as part of a murder investigation. Golly Jeepers I wanna grow up to be her - perfect looks, fun job, cool car, nice boss, sunny weather ALL the time :-)

 

Funniest of all were the close-up 'action' shots of Farrah's head (read: HAIR) in motion in the rink, reminiscent of that dolly shot of Goldmember. They did show her coming to a rolling stop at the end of that scene, so she was able to at least stand up on skates. They definitely used a double for the Derby parts though.

 

Very entertaining! Who needs cable.
